Consular Section Open in Monring Only - Monday, July 27 to Monday, August 10 (July 7, 2009)

The Consular Section of the U.S. Embassy will be closed in the afternoons from Monday, July 27th to Monday, August 10th in order to conduct staff training. 
  • There will be no routine American Citizen Services provided after 12:00pm (noon).
For routine American Citizen Services, please arrive by 11:00am on these dates. 

  • Passport pick-ups for approved, non-immigrant visas will be allowed Mondays through Thursdays at 3:30pm only. 

  • There will be no walk-in appointments for Immigrant Visas during this period.
For emergencies involving the death, incarceration, or hospitalization of American citizens during normal business hours please contact the U.S. Embassy in Belmopan at 822-4011 and press “0” for the Operator. After 5:00pm an embassy duty officer may be reached at 610-5030. For non-emergency inquiries, you may also contact the Embassy Consular Section via e-mail at consulbelize@state.gov.

The U.S. Embassy is located in Belmopan on Floral Park Road.
