Peace Corps 50th Anniversary

Peace Corps Belize celebrated 50 years of continuous service in Belize with a grand celebration full of cultural performances, video displays, photo exhibitions, and much more on September 26, 2012 at the U.S. Embassy in Belmopan.

The event highlighted the unique impact that Peace Corps volunteers have had in Belize over the years.  Speakers from around Belize described their experiences working with Peace Corps volunteers.  There was also an official signing of a "Letter of Intent to Collaborate" between Peace Corps Belize and the Ministry of Health for 2013 programs.
