Black History Month Speaker Visits Belize

The Embassy of the United States of America is pleased to announce the
visit of Black History Month Speaker Anthony Browder. In collaboration
with the UBAD Educational Foundation (UEF), Mr. Browder will be in
Belize from February 23 - March 1, making presentations on this year's
Black History Month theme, "The Quest for Black Citizenship in the
Americas".
Mr. Browder is based in Washington, D.C., and is the
head of an educational organization IKG dedicated to the rediscovery and
application of ancient African history, culture, and wisdom. He has
traveled to Egypt over 35 times and has lectured on topics pertaining to
African and African-American history and culture in multiple forums
throughout the United States, Africa, Europe, Japan, Mexico, and the
Caribbean.
Mr. Browder is scheduled to travel in Belize to meet
with members of the general public, students and the media to highlight
the message of Black History Month.
He is scheduled to speak at
the University of Belize in Belmopan on Wednesday, February 25 at 2 p.m.
and at the UEF Public Lecture Series in the Bishop Sylvester Hall in
Belize City on Wednesday, February 25 at 6:30 p.m. The general public is
invited to attend.
