Black History Month Speaker Anthony Browder Visits Belize
The U.S. Embassy hosted Mr. Anthony Browder in coordination with the United Black Association for Development (UBAD) Educational Foundation. His program consisted of visits to seven schools throughout the country, six programmed interviews with local television, print and radio media, and two presentations to community groups in Belize City.
Mr. Browder's message, focused on this year's theme of "The Quest for Black Citizenship in the Americas," highlighted the importance of African culture and the legacy of African history. He engaged over 400 Belizeans directly and several hundred more through radio and television programming.
